Unpleasant smells inside the cabinet are usually caused by residue, moisture, stored items or a charcoal filter that requires replacement.
Clean the Interior
Disconnect the appliance from the mains and remove the contents.
Clean the inside using:
Clean warm water
A mild, non-hazardous cleaner or mild soapy water
A soft cloth
Dry the interior thoroughly afterwards.
Do not use:
Abrasive cleaners
Strong solvents
Flammable cleaning products
Clean the Door Seal
The door gasket should also be cleaned regularly.
Residue and moisture can accumulate around the seal and contribute to odours.
Check the Charcoal Filter
The INTEGRA is fitted with an active charcoal filtration system designed to help maintain air purity and keep the cabinet odour-free.
The charcoal filter should be replaced approximately every 12 months.
The filter is located on the rear panel inside the cooler.
To replace it:
Remove bottles and the shelves positioned in front of the filter.
Rotate the filter approximately 45 degrees anti-clockwise.
Pull the old filter out.
Fit the replacement filter.
Rotate it approximately 45 degrees clockwise to secure it.
If the Cooler Will Not Be Used for a Long Period
The manual recommends:
Switching the appliance off
Cleaning and drying the interior
Leaving the door slightly open
This allows air to circulate and helps prevent mould, mildew and unpleasant odours.
