The door on the Subcold INTEGRA Series can be reversed using the alternative hinges supplied with the appliance.
Because the door contains glass, take care to support it throughout the process.
Before You Begin
You will need:
A suitable screwdriver
A soft mat or protected surface
The left upper and lower hinges supplied with the cooler
We recommend carrying out the procedure with another person available to support the door.
Reversing the Door
1. Remove the Bottom Hinge
Support the glass door while loosening and removing the screws from the bottom hinge.
2. Remove the Door
Carefully lift the door from the lower hinge.
Place it onto a soft mat to prevent scratches or damage.
Remove the adjustable door shaft.
3. Remove the Existing Hinges
Unscrew and remove the upper and lower hinges.
Carefully remove the screw-hole cover from the opposite side and use it to cover the unused fixing holes.
4. Fit the Opposite Hinges
Install the supplied left upper hinge and left lower hinge and tighten them securely.
5. Rotate the Door
Rotate the door 180 degrees.
Fit the adjustable door shaft to the door and reposition the door onto the appliance.
Make sure the upper hinge aligns correctly with the upper hinge hole.
6. Align the Door
Check that the door sits level with the top of the appliance.
Once correctly aligned, securely tighten the bottom hinge screws.
Final Checks
After reversing the door:
Check that it opens and closes smoothly
Make sure the gasket sits correctly
Confirm that the door closes fully
Check that the appliance remains level
