Correct installation is important for cooling performance, noise levels and the lifespan of your Subcold INTEGRA.
Before Switching It On
After unpacking:
Remove all packaging and transport tape
Check that the shelves, handle and operating manual are present
Place the appliance upright
Allow it to stand for at least 2 hours before connecting it to the mains
This allows the refrigeration system to settle after transportation.
Choose the Correct Location
Install the appliance:
Indoors only
On a firm, flat and stable surface
Away from direct sunlight
Away from radiators, ovens and other heat sources
Away from damp locations
In a room with an ambient temperature between 16°C and 32°C
Do not install the appliance in an unheated garage, shed or outbuilding.
Level the Appliance
Adjust the front feet so that the cooler is stable and does not rock.
The appliance may be positioned with a slight backwards tilt to help the door close securely.
Correct levelling can also reduce vibration and operating noise.
Allow Ventilation
For built-in installation, the manual specifies at least:
5 mm clearance on each side
5 mm clearance at the rear
Keep all ventilation openings clear.
The installation diagrams on pages 8–9 of the manual provide the cabinet dimensions for the INTEGRA30, INTEGRA60 and INTEGRA60-DZ.
Initial Cooling
When first stocked with room-temperature wine:
Allow additional cooling time
Keep the door closed as much as possible
Do not be concerned if the side panels initially feel warm
The warmth should reduce as the bottles reach the selected temperature.
