What Does IPX4 Mean?
An IPX4 rating means the appliance is protected against splashing water from any direction.
This makes the APEX range much better suited to outdoor environments than a standard indoor fridge.
It does not mean the appliance should be submerged in water or subjected to extreme weather conditions.
Installation Advice
For best performance, make sure the fridge is:

Can It Be Used in a Garage or Shed?
Yes. The APEX range is the recommended Subcold option if you require a fridge for a garage, shed, outdoor bar, or other less temperature-controlled environment.
As with any refrigeration appliance, very high or very low ambient temperatures can still affect cooling performance, so the installation environment should always be considered.
